Analyzing Measurement Bias in Cough Trials

Can the act of measuring cough change the cough being measured? This session explores how cough counts shifted when patients wore an additional monitoring device, why the pattern appeared to follow the extra monitoring rather than the clinic visit, and what that may mean for placebo response, trial design and the case for continuous monitoring. You’ll also get a first look at continuously measured cough in IPF, from daily variability to cough bouts and their implications for drug development.
